Ingredients:
6 green peppers

7 medium onions (chopped)

1/2 cup rice

1/4 cup yellow split peas

2 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons tomato sauce

300 grams grounded beef.

fragrant vegetables (like spearmint)

Directions:
Wash peppers and then cut into thin slices from the stem end of each and save them. Remove seeds.

Cook rice and yellow split peas with 1 cup water. Boil for 25 minutes. If your rice takes a long time to cook, cook it separately. Fry onions with 2 tablespoons butter then add the meat. After 5 minutes add fragrant vegetables, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Then mix them well with rice and yellow split peas. Fill the green peppers with meat mixture. Put stems back so that the meat does not fall out. Arrange peppers in a skillet. Add tomato sauce and salt. Cover and let cook on a low fire for 30 minutes.
